Witty Wise's Interests

My interests have been changing from time to time. In the past, I was interested in how to deliver lessons in a Communicative language Teaching (CLT) approach. At the moment, I tend to focus more on how to teach reading and writing. It isn't easy to deliver these receptive-skill lessons in a fun way, especially in a struggle class. However, yesterday I tried Jigsaw reading teaching method in my class and it came out pretty well. My students told me that it was really fun and they enjoyed  the lesson a lots. I thinnk it is great to start a lesson with joy and students all trusted in you.

    Is this your style for teaching?Do you always desing your class every time:I mean what is your decision how to teach one s class?If your class have different level what do you do?

    I often use jigsaw activities in my regular classes. It means students have to read less themselves, but they have to be able to communicate what they're read to classmates, and get information from classmates.
    Most of my students also think it's fun.
